On October 25th -27th, 2007, Eko Club Dallas Fort Worth TX will host the 2007 Eko Club International Convention. This is a bi-annual event intended to bring together Lagosians all over the Americas and Europe to discuss way forward for Lagos State. It is a platform where organized business communities share their views on investment opportunities in Lagos State, Nigeria. The American and Nigerian Chambers of commerce have been invited to participate in the convention, which will be held at the Westin Hotel, Dallas Fort Worth in Texas.

THE 2007 ECONOMIC SESSION
His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Lagos State and a host of High-powered Economic Delegation from Nigeria will be in Dallas, Texas from the 26th of October, 2007 to the 27th of October, 2007 for a powerful economic summit. While in Dallas, the Governor desire to meet with the Dallas/Houston Business Community and other economic power brokers in the U.S. to discuss Business Investment opportunities in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Business Economic Session will offer participants exposure to the Nigerian Government, and Delegation of the largest and viable commercial center in the Sub-Sahara Africa. This will also promote economic growth and development between the United States and Nigeria. The Hon. Mayor of Dallas has been invited to officially declare the session open.
